Castellino takes up ‘ENNN’

Winning awards in the state, national and international level for films in Tulu, Konkani and Kodava languages (these are three recognized languages with Kannada in the Karnataka state) like ‘Bangar Patler, Badi, September 8 (shot in 24 hours in Mangalore with nine cameras one and half decades ago) and others Dr Richard Castellino is taking up his first Kannada cinema for direction that is titled as ‘Ellellu Naane Nannallu Neene’. Among all four state languages this is Dr Richard Castellino’s 10th film direction.

Feeling proud for the first Kannada cinema although he was in the industry for a long time Dr. Richard Castellino says this is a typical triangular love story film. He is shooting the songs at Bangkok, Singapore and Malaysia. From October 25 to November 20 he is shooting the talkie portions of the film in Bangalore, Chickmagalur and Ooty.

Frank Fernandes managing director of Mosaco Shipping Forwarding in UAE is introducing his son Larry who is Rohith in Kannada film ‘ENNN’. Before this Kannada film Frank Fernandes has made ‘Kazar’ Konkani film in the direction of Dr Richard Castellino in which his son Larry made debut. Living in Dubai from last 35 years Frank Fernandes intends to take up a Tulu language film after release of his first Kannada film.

Rohith rechristened from Larry has stayed in Dubai for 25 years and studied in Our Own High school and came to Mangalore to finish his three year BBM graduation from St. Aloysius College. He was looking after his papa’s imports and export business for six years. One of his family friends suggested his name for the film and director Richard Castellino accepted the offer to direct a Konkani film ‘Kazar’ first. Rohith a Taurus boy is taking sufficient training at Star Creators Bangalore now.

Supritha of ‘Ambari’ fame the lucky heroine is playing female lead opposite Rhoith. Mallikarjun is taking up his 101st film as cameraman. Vijayabharathi is scoring music for five songs.
